2009 Application Available Now!

For over 30 years, the Georgia Engineering Foundation has sponsored a program that awards college scholarships to worthy Georgia students who are preparing for a career in engineering or engineering technology. Since 1985, over 600 students have been awarded scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. In 2008 about 40 awards will be made available.

All scholarships are competitively awarded based on the student’s demonstrated competence in academics, interest in developing a career in engineering, financial need, and school and community involvement.

For use by High School Seniors and new College Freshman

For use by College Upperclassmen/Graduate Students


Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, a student must be:

1
) A U. S. Citizen;
2
) A resident of Georgia; and
3
) Enrolled in an engineering or engineering technology ABET-accredited program leading to a B.S., or graduate degree.

Applicants include incoming college freshmen, as well as upperclassmen, and graduate level students.
